Welcome to theInternational Color Institute’sColor Gossip site.  

I’ve taught advertisers, companies and people how to use color for over 30 years. A young upstart in advertising, I was very successful very early in my career. My success was firmly based on lots of hard work, good prosperity consciousness, brains, and a unique insight into marketing and color.

Early on I discovered that the same package or ad design in different color combinations increased response and sales by 10%, 50%, 100, 200 or even 1,000%. Same product, same copy, same design; the only differences were color combinations.

I first taught color usage in ad clubs and sales groups, then I inverted theinformationand started teaching self help groups how to use color individually, in their personal lives.

A favorite part of my classes has always been the break or lunch time “gossip” of questions andviewingevery-day events through color knowledge. As a response to numerous students and multitudes of questions, we’re gathering the color infohere, so many can enjoy and learn. I teach extensive classes on using colors in your life, profession or business. I won’t make your decisions for you. I can only give you the color information, so you may become empowered to make your best personal decisions.

The GEM GRAMS Rubies, Life Blood of the People was written over 16 years ago after Desert Storm. The message is even more important today as we face the devastating costs of another little boys’ turf war.

The firstBLAST FROM THE PAST is ENRON, Ron, ron, run, Color the Money Run Away. In 2001, when I wrote it, ENRON and its problems were covered heavily in the news for six months or a year. Today, it’s a weekly parade of corporate giants that are broke because they refused to listen to their customers. Out-of-touch CEOs are begging for government bailouts of my tax money to pay for their billionaire lifestyles.

We can go beyond listening to their stories –  to look at their colors, actions and reality. When we don’t look at their colors and understand them, the past repeats. And boy is it repeating now. – BRIT
